About Us
Local roofers who turn up and get it right
JMR Roofing was founded by Jonathan Roulstone in 2016 and has been fixing, replacing and protecting roofs across Nottingham, Derbyshire and Leicestershire ever since. We're based near Junction 25 of the M1, close enough to reach most jobs the same week.
We work directly for homeowners rather than as subcontractors buried under a builder's markup, which means clearer pricing, a single point of contact, and a team that's accountable for the finished job, not just their bit of it.
We also own our own scaffolding, rather than hiring it in for every job. That keeps our costs down and means we're not left waiting on a third-party scaffolder before we can start, a saving we pass straight on to you.

Why Choose JMR
Local, accountable, and properly qualified
I recently hired Jmr roofing for a full roof replacement and I was extremely impressed with their service. From the initial contact, they were prompt and very helpful. The estimate was all itemized, clear and detailed, very reasonable indeed and the final price matched the quote. The team was professional, courteous, and arrived on time each day.
Their communication throughout the project was excellent; they kept us informed of their progress and answered all of our questions promptly. The quality of their work is outstanding and our new roof looks fantastic. They also did a great job of cleaning up the work area afterwards. I would highly recommend Jmr roofing to anyone in need of roofing services.

I am so grateful for JMR Roofing and cannot recommend them enough. Such a difficult thing to find such genuine and professional roofing specialists who go above and beyond by providing before and after photos as well as making sure that there are no other issues with the roof.
With the bad weather, it was such a worry when the work could be carried out but JMR Roofing took that worry away and after the initial inspection also mentioned a loose gutter which needed re-affixing and stated they would deal with that also. It’s so hard to find honest, reliable and such excellent workmanship but as roofers go, I wouldn’t want anyone else to do any work for me but JMR Roofing. So grateful to Jono and his team. 1000% satisfaction.

JMR Roofing did a fantastic job installing 5 Velux windows in our house which has completely transformed our upstairs space.
onathan had a great idea about putting two Velux together in our stairway and it’s now the best feature upstairs.
They were super polite, explained everything, cleaned up well (especially important as they were working in two bedrooms) and did a great job with attention to detail.
Highly recommended, if you need any roof work or Velux installations then I could not recommend them more highly.
